Irritation was a bit hard to muster up in his condition. His body hurt and his mind told him to whine long and about everything because all was sad. But he did manage to become minutely annoyed, perhaps for the first time in his short life, at Sira’s continued misunderstanding. How many times did he have to say it?! Rin had gotten it the first time. Why was this Sira being so hard to talk to? No. Not. Zooze. He huffed. But he didn’t bother to try and correct her again. He had given up on pronouncing his name before this and wasn’t about to try and fail again. His ears fell back to his head and he huffed out a tiny sigh of exasperation.
He wasn’t irritated for long though. It seemed that more than talking to Sira was hard. Everyone knew mommies were kind and gave love and food. Why Sira would EVER say such mean things about his momma, for he took it personally, was way beyond his understanding. What?? he gasped in horror. Momma never doos that! Seera lie tells! Then she went even further to say she would keep his momma away. It is difficult to explain exactly how much displeasure this gave the little pup. His mother was all he knew. Saying she would be kept away was akin to telling someone they could not have air to breath or food to eat. It was the hope that his young mind clung to. No! he cried and quickly fell into hysterics. His little limbs found strength to wobble up into a standing position in his panic. NO NO NO! Rin! Rin! he yelped and barked for his caretaker as loudly as his exhausted voice could and bounced with the effort, Seera go! Ja-kull-Seera leave! Go away and let momma come! Rin! He desperately hopped Rin would get rid of Sira quickly for his Momma could come at any moment and be kept away by this mean thing called Sira.
