Still he was trying for the small talk. She could hear it in his voice and there was nothing pleasurable about it. Irritation continued to brew as another claw joined the first in grating. Her disposition was anything but pleasant now and it just continued to worsen the longer this farce of a conversation remained in place. When he spoke of the barn again, a claw chipped under the sudden force of her fist hitting the ground. A growl surged from her throat as she rose from her once relaxed position and all but launched herself at her companion whilst on her hands and knees.
Her newly sharpened set went to grab for the white of his chest. If not to sink into him in a passionate strike, then to grab onto the fur itself and pull him forward to meet her enraged gaze. X'yrin was seething, driven by a dormant rage and the coming of her instinctual desire. But worse, by her frustration for this idle banter when other conversations were better had between the two of them. She was annoyed by his talk.... it was plain as the moisture that dripped down her face. But she played along none the less.
Her eyes were hard and lips peels back as it was not her sweet voice he would hear, but the darker nature of wants left unsatisfied. "...nearly 5 days to complete it all. Well worth the labor...do you not agree?"
