Shaking her head in mock disappointment Terra laughed. My friend in mischief, and yet you've managed to cause none of your own! Well don't worry, that'll be solved soon enough. They're growing, and soon I'll be taking them from the den back to the house. It would be at least a couple more weeks until then, but Terra was positive that time would move faster than that for her. As content as the coyote was in the woods, it wasn't her home.
Skoll bowed down playfully, Terra watching with a sharp eye. A single wrong move would end Terra's memory of their friendship for the wilder instincts telling her that he was a threat. It kept Ananse from going further, Terra ready to step in if need be. Ananse's the one whose acting determined to get past you. Loki's the one further back. Or not. Terra quickly stepped up, nudging Loki back from trying to edge past the wall of the den.
