Terra released his ear as he shook his head, tail wagging behind her happily. She loved playing with Skoll and spending time with him. She hadn't changed much, even with being a mother. Besides the new caution that she felt every time they reached out to experience something new. They wouldn't be getting that, not until they were ready. Skoll settled in next to her frame, his tail rhythmically beating against her body as they both reflected on the pups before them.
Nodding her head Terra pushed the pups back into the den yet again. Tiring them out was easy enough to say. It was actually easy to do as well, except that they didn't sleep for any long periods of time. Chatting with Skoll the rest of the time passed easily, the pups eventually falling asleep, and Terra slipping away to bring back something to share with her dearest friend.
