An interruption was perhaps unheard of. Even with her prior mate she wouldn’t have dared withdraw without repercussions following swiftly after. But it was the fact she was able to with little more than a pawing at her backside that conveyed just one difference between the two males that had taken her heart. The raw instinct of one, and the understanding of the other. She could sense the struggle between the feral and the civil minds within the Issum’s mind. Neither would tip to its own side, perfectly level and taunting on the threshold. It was a torturous obstacle she endured once before and overcame…but now it was his turn to assert either to reign.

She held little Zeus close, growling softly to ease his troubled mind and lull him back to sleep. Whilst one male was in her arms another came up behind her, professing his desire for something other than rest while at the same time ensuring the pup would not be disturbed. X’yrin looked behind at her needful beloved offering him the same consoling voice and placing a gentle kiss of apology on his muzzle. With his arms around her, she leaned back into his chest using him as a support while continuing to set the child to a state of ease. Then gradually his breath evened and by the beat of his little heart she felt him return to sleep. Carefully, she returned him to his own little pile of furs, tucking him snuggly under a marten pelt.

Rather than leave immediately, she turned to her friend and lover and looked to him through eyes veiled by red. She placed her hands on either side of his muzzle and drew him closer to their noses would meet. Her eyes closed with content behind their veil, then tail swayed slowly…tauntingly but did not pull to one side nor lift. In this state of calm she lavished him with endearing kisses of gratitude of his understanding, though it was well known it pained him. She could see it, she could feel it as she pulled her body flush against his own, but made no immediate effort to conquer it.
