The warmth shared between bodies in this embrace had changed for the moment. The lust was still present and the desire. The excitement for having two ready bodies so close lingered too. But the warmth between them was now love. The feeling burned hot in him and threatened to overpower even his desires as he held her and felt the heat of her body against him. Jaden left his muzzle buried in red fur while she catered to Zeus. His Issor’s sweet heartbeat could be heard from this close. The rhythm wasn’t slow like that of a sleeping body nor was it skipping at an excited tempo. It was an alert rate that beat evenly, expressing that the male still held her attention away from the lure of sleep.
His tail swept patiently and he waited to see if he was right in that conclusion. His beloved proved it when she turned and took a gentle hold on him. He smiled at her whilst still holding the beautiful body in his arms. Looking into amber, it was suddenly hard to understand how long he’d managed to keep away from her. He had once been conflicted in choosing another over this wonderful woman? Preposterous. Never again. He moved to brush her bangs away and kissed the muzzle pressed against his sweetly. Together they shared a moment of content in one another’s presence.
He would be the one to break the hold and encourage more between them once again. The darker body lay back and pulled hers with it and away from the sleeping pup. On top of him she would be lavished with kisses first on her muzzle then under it and gently into her throat. And once he felt she was comfortable again, and assuming she’d continue to be compliant, he would turn their intertwined bodies over and take his position above her.
