Change on the Wind

Svetlana's tail couldn't help but flutter to and fro as her father sang to her. Despite what had happened, she chalked what had happened to her brother and sister as nothing but a mirage, something she must have created in her own mind. Mars had been nothing but devoted and completely committed to her since the attack on her siblings. For a while there, the pup had become somewhat stand-offish with him, but it seemed he had won her trust- no surprise with a then 8 week old pup.

Svets ears twitched at the sound of the howl that rang through their territory. It stressed a response, it seemed, since Mars swiftly set his guitar down and told her to stay put. She groaned, not wanting him to stop playing and singing, nor go off without her, "But Daddy..", she said, though her reproach went unheard as he hastily walked away, promising her mother would be by soon to get her. The pup followed him to the door, sitting herself down as she watched him mount his steed. She huffed a sigh as she flopped in the doorway, crystal blue eyes not leaving his form as he rode away. She wondered where Orin was, but stayed put like her father had asked of her.

It wasn't long before Orin appeared to get Svet, the puppy's tail beat against the floor as her mother approached and scooped her up, "Mommy..where we going?", she invoked as they left the house.

As they approached the theater where this meeting took place, Svet struggled to be let go and free from her mothers hold, which Orin allowed. Svetlana sat at her mothers feet, though it didn't stop her from analyzing whom was there. Many faces although familiar, unable to name them. She did spot her father and Krystalle, both of which earned a smile from her. Her attention was drawn up front with the yip of the one whom made the original call, and she listened as he spoke.

Whatever it was he was talking about seemed to be received in an oppressed manner, and the situation around her was quickly subsiding. As the voices raised with anger, Svets ears pinned to her head, tucking herself just a little closer to her mother. Soon enough, Mars was standing, his maw spewing words that though she didn't know the meaning to, she knew they weren't to be repeated. She hadn't seen this manner in him since the assalt on her brother and sister, and frankly, it scared her. The pup whimpered as the relative space grew with tension, her mother stood trying to calm the meeting. Svet hunkered down at her side, not sure of Mars at the moment. As the room fell silent, Orin didn't have to ask twice for Svet to accompany her out. The pup kept on her mothers heels.
