The assassin looked fearful. Perhaps he knew this was a pack of trained warriors. Perhaps they would be able to deal with this killer, this monster before he entered the pack. He wouldn't let his mate and pup near him! He stood ready to fight, to do what little he could to keep his family safe. The nearby voice only panicked Hadley more, growling in dismay. What was she doing here? He wasn't going to calm down! He wanted to take Isa back into the fort, as far away from the black entity as possible. The young pup was dropped in his arms, eyes wide and curious as she moved around. She was growing too fast, and soon would be wandering around.
He held the pup tightly in his arms, backing up slightly. A growl broke from his lips at the question. He's a killer! He'll hurt you. Hadley stepped forward, trying to grab Isa's arm and tug her back while attempting to keep Amatha balanced at the same time. Gentle blue eyes stared down at Dahmer, a bright grin on the pup's face as she looked at the stranger. Jazper's arrival relieved Hadley immensely. If Sebastian was there he would have been able to calm right down. For now though, he had to trust his sole. His ears flattened a little, still convinced they should get rid of the stranger. Catching the male's look he pulled farther back, trying to shield Amatha from view, despite the pup's clear delight in the wolf's interest.
