The sound of crashing trees caused the new mother more stress than she cared for. Hotaru fidgeted with her tools in the workshop, formally a human's garage. The Maven cleaned her tools as she tried to focus on her work, but the occasional crashes caused her ears to fall flat against her head and her tail to bristle. Hotaru knew it was silly, her mind was sure that no harm would come to Aiden and Aysun. Yet, the mother's instincts hated the crash and feared for her infant pups safety.
Another crash came and Hotaru had, had enough. She quickly exited the garage and made her way to the bedroom where Aiden and Aysun often stayed. Striding over to the crib, the blind female reached into the fur laden structure to find only one pup. Hotaru let out a growl as her temper rose. Most of the time, Levent was a good father. Although his speaking in Turkish annoyed her, what really got to the new mother was his insistence on taking the pups outside. Hotaru scooped Aiden up into her arms, feeling him squirm as he yipped and babbled excitedly.
Hotaru cradled her son delicately, holding him as if he would break at any moment. She could feel him nipping and pawing at her arm. "Fawkes!" A chirp came from Fawkes as he quickly tattled on Levent. Cursing, Hotaru exited the house slowly. Fawkes and Kelia both followed as they led the way to where Levent was. "LEVENT! Where is Aysun? And what is going on here?"
Paranoid, the female stayed only on the edges of the forest. One sniff and she knew that Dalgna and Hornin were in the forest along with Aysun and her idiotic father.
