Despite being lovers, the two Qi'Vaex brothers behaved exactly that, from time to time: brotherly. And, unfortunately for most around them, they bickered like cats and dogs when it came down to it. Now was one of those times.

We need to be looking for her, Halaki whined as the pair trudged along, kicking their Optimized feet in fall's first leaves. The day was slightly uncomfortable for travel, as they both were born with the thick Arctic coat of their father, but they trundled along regardless; this decision, this dedication to finding the third part of their trio, resulted in great cranikiness from both of them, including the normally level headed Twensu.

I already told you, Hal, he snapped, stopping abruptly to lock eyes with his pale eyed brother. We're going to find her. But nothing's going to be worth anything if we don't know where we are. Stop whining. Zeneca knows how to take care of herself. Twensu's voice softened towards the end of his tirade as he saw the hurt slipping into Halaki's cool eyes. Sorry, he whispered, tugging the larger male into a hug. I'm worried about her too.

Halaki sighed and buried his head in Twensu's shoulders, wrapping his long arms around his brother's leaner form. There was no place where either one of them self safer, though Hal was known to deviate in times of greatest need. There were some things his brother and sister couldn't give him - the excitement of not knowing a lover, for example, and the deep pleasure of something taken against another's will. Something about that excited him, and he could feel himself growing hard against Twensu, who laughed and stepped away. You're insatiable, he laughed, though a groan was mixed somewhere in there. But you love me for it, Hal winked, his trademark devil grin growing wide on his face. Don't you think we should -

Naturally, he was cut off by a crash in the bushes around him, and the Qi'Vaex brothers immediately adopted a defensive stance as they came face to face with a large, extremely handsome, and extremely confused looking male. The stranger's gaze darted from Halaki's face to Twensu's, his mouth gaping comically as he contemplated the brothers. I... you were... what? the stranger stammered, stumbling backwards for a moment before seemingly deciding he could, foolishly, take on the two men. You're... You two, you smell...

Related? Halaki interjected cooly, grey eyes narrowing in on this potential new victim. Like brothers, even? Twensu echoed, voice slightly softer than Halaki's. Yeah, we're brothers, Hal laughed, taking a confident stride towards this stranger. We do everything and everyone together. And you, handsome, are next on our list.

These words, of course, made the stranger turn and run, directly towards the castle that loomed in front of the Qi'Vaex brothers. They hadn't registered much notice of it, but, with a quick glance, decided to take after the good looking victim.

Twensu was quicker, and rapidly pulled ahead of Halaki. The chocolate man did not begrudge his brother the faster speed; he knew that if Twensu got to the stranger, he would easily be able to restrain him until he, the stronger of the two brothers, was able to hold him down. By the time Twensu was finished with him, he would be too exhausted, too hurt, to flee from Halaki's advances. And then Halaki would punish him for not being energetic enough, and then the pair would take their time as they killed him and ripped his heart out.

These fantasies made him even more aroused than he was before. He needed to stop thinking about the prize at the end of the race and actually finish it.

His footsteps echoed loudly in the castle, and he could barely hear the steps of Twensu and the stranger over his belabored breathing. But Halaki wasn't all too much slower than the two of them, and reached the pair only seconds after a loud crash and a shout of triumph - Twensu's - reached his ears. Slowing, the chocolate man decided to meander down the stairs instead of fall, as it appeared his victim - who lay on his stomach with Twensu's foot on his back - had done. You thought running could stop us? Halaki drawled, a Cheshire grin curled around his handsome face. Silly boy, you should have -

For the second time in several minutes, Halaki was interrupted by Twensu - a rare occurance, for the pair, as Twensu was infinitely more soft spoken. But it appeared the more intelligent brother had picked up on a fourth party faster than Halaki, and now stared at him through wary dark blue eyes. Who are you? Twensu spat, rather rudely, at the languishing (and rather handsome, if the horndog were to admit) exotic man.
