He was feeling much better now, hardly a limp at all in his form. Tharin's tail wagged behind him, though he had been gravely disappointed to learn that Saki would remain crippled for the rest of her life. How would she be able to live with it? He strode through the dens, tail swaying when he picked up Adonia's scent. Several times. She'd been pacing. Nose to the ground he followed it along, searching for the most fresh scent. He wondered what had sent her to pacing like that.
The large wolf lifted his head as Jiva's voice spoke out, worried. That wasn't good. He picked up his pace the best that he could, working on reaching the area. The sight that he beheld was horrible. Adonia had lost weight. Too much weight. What happened? Was Ookami missing again? He would have to hunt the wolf down and bring him back. Didn't he realize how much he meant to Adonia? She was always so worried over him. He stood tall, waiting for the explanation with a grave expression on his face.
Family comes first.
