Itzal was a monster with control. He kept control of his inner monster the best he could. But he was a hunter. And fear made him hungry. And this female was afraid of him, or at least she was at first. It had made him hungry for her blood. Itzal felt the urge to tear out the girl's throat and lap up the blood as it stained her fur. It would be too easily, injured leg or not. But Itzal forced himself to suppress the urge, because this female was pack. Which meant she was family. And Itzal was trying to learn not to hurt his family.
Itzal waited for some kind of response to what he had said. He raised an eyebrow at the female, but she appeared to be unwilling to answer him. So he repeated himself, "What are you going to tell on me for exactly?" He asked again as he looked at what little of the female he could see.
"And who is Ksenija?" Itzal asked, laying his head back against the wall. He had repeated the questions to see if this time he would get an answer. Or maybe this female would just sit behind her pulled up legs and hate him. Maybe eventually he would get tired of waiting and just decide to go ahead and kill her. Maybe he would get to taste her blood after all. He could rip the meat from her bones. Or maybe he would just sit here and imagine what her flesh would taste like.
