Don't Let Go

Sebastian had been poring over a new book he had recently acquired when Hadley had decided to enter his room. He hadn't knocked- that was certainly odd. He didn't even seem to notice the Italian. Sebastian's saffron eyes flicked over to the lumbering hybrid as he came closer, not moving from his relaxed position on the bed. It was only when Hadley had dropped to the ground and squeezed himself under the bed that Sebastian sighed softly.

Lord, what had happened to Hadley now?

Sebastian finished the page he was on, carefully marking it and setting it on his bedside table. He rolled over onto his stomach and poked his head underneath the bed, looking at Hadley upside-down.

"Are you quite all right, Hadley?" he asked mildly, his alert gaze searching for Hadley's steady eyes.
