Hadley jumped slightly as Sebastian rolled off the bed, anxious. The brown eyes watched as the red wolf acrobatically shifted around, catching himself and sliding neatly under the bed next to him. The lithe body pressed next to him, Hadley's tail wagging absently behind him with the contact. There wasn't much room, with Hadley already taking up so much space. It felt even more crowded and small with Sebastian joining him there.
His ear twitched, feeling Sebastian's warm breath against him. The words were commanding, pushing for an answer. Guiltily he stared at the bottom, knowing what the answer was. He didn't want to admit that he was so weak and foolish to be frightened by a member of his own pack. Even a new member. He could feel Sebastian's eyes studying him, and sighing finally spoke. Someone new joined the pack. A killer.
