A killer, eh? Sebastian wondered exactly how Hadley knew that. Did he know the person? Whoever it was likely hadn't just decided to tell him, unless they were somehow offering their services. A mercenary or an assassin? Unclear which. Perhaps Sebastian could do a little detective work of his own to ensure that this killer was harmless. Harmless to Casa di Cavalieri, at any rate.
"I see," he said quietly. Sebastian placed a black-furred hand on Hadley's jaw and gently turned his head until he faced the Italian. He looked directly into Hadley's eyes as he spoke. "I suppose Jazper knows of this. I believe in Jazper's judgement, Hadley. In any case, you need not worry." Sebastian leaned in and gently kissed the tip of Hadley's nose. "You need not fear this killer. He would not dare to strike against a pack with our power, and I will see this killer for myself and judge. You can trust me, Hadley."
