She was a waster, enjoying all the loathing and bitterness that a long committed relationship brought. Happily shackled to one certain person, Anu enjoyed nothing more then sleeping beside the same face and body every night. The casual way he flirted with her was amusing as well as surprising, it wasn’t exactly what she had expected.
The tip of his head and the abrupt goodbye kept her stunned in her seat. At first she wondered if she had offended him, but there was an air about him that told her he didn’t care enough to become insulted so easily. It took a moment, but she figured out why he was walking away.
“Hey.” Calling and walking after him she narrowed her eyes a bit, bringing her brow down in contemplation. “You’ve never heard of ‘just friends’?” Was she not worth his time if she wasn’t going to go for the full ride? |
