Greater Halifax

Word Count → 000

Adonia's eagle was flying high above her, as she moved through the greater area of Halifax. Her eyes scanned the stores as she walked on past them. She was looking for timing belt. It was rough and brittle and wouldn't work the way it should. The only place she could find a timing belt is in Halifax she was sure, then she would have to make her way all the way back to Amherst. This was going to be a hell of a trip. Leaving New Dawn for nearly a week, hopefully less. She didn't want to upset Zalen with being gone long, however, she really wanted to get that Jeep running.

Finally, Adonia came across the first auto shop. She opened the door---well attempted to, but it was locked. Her eyes looked to a window that was knocked out and began to gingerly climb within. Adonia had to go through a few boxes. Many containing parts she didn't need, some she knew she might need later. She found some old antifreeze she might need later, but water was needed, and that was easy to come by. Then she knew she'd need a few batteries. She found a 6v and a 12v, then the one that was meant properly for the Jeep after looking through a catalog in the autoshop. However, she didn't find the belt. She stuffed all the stuff on a wagon she found in an alley. It looked like it would be useful. Peaking out a back pack she had was her red doggie.

Theo being unavailable to talk she began to talk to the stuffed animal, "Looks like we have to find another shop.." She continued down a neighborhood street. She was feeling just how lonely she was, but her eyes looked up and she saw her bird sticking right by her. She knew she wasn't alone, and she knew she had Theo right there. He was always faithful, and remained protective of her, almost possessively. Adonia didn't mind though, it reminded her that he wanted her, that he cared about what she did, and who she was with.

Looking back down, hunger pained her stomach. She stopped looking back up to Theos and with a short whistle from her Theo looked around his flying changing to a more tactful maneuver and then the large bird launched himself down, his talons grabbing sharply onto the rabbit he found, then taking back to the air with ease. Coming back down, he zoomed past Adonia dropping the rodent to her. Adonia caught it and then smiled to Theo. She found a bench in a park and sat down preparing her meal, taking the skin and fur from it before she started to to consume the tender muscles that made up the meat.
