Life and How to Live It

ooc: I think I'll list Element as a friend because he's rubbed off well on Edgar Smile

Though he had done many, many things to ruin his whole life, it was impossible for Edgar to hate his violent father; he couldn't hate anybody, no matter what they did. He actually loved him so much and was more than crushed that'd he never gotten that love back. The boy had a lot of faith, and love too. His purity and honesty was what got him into many abusive "friendships" with his family members. The dog felt that his new whiskered friend seemed to be picking up on his sadness. The male's charming smile made a return as the dark cat rubbed his side softly against Edgar. The artist affectionately petted his neck and paused for a moment to get something from his bag. Edgar pulled of a warm apple cookie that was sprinkled with cinnamon and offered it to the feline. He had given apple cookies to other small animals, they'd usually enjoyed them. The boy wondered what it must have been like for the small creature to start learning to read and write, what would a cat want to do with reading and writing? One thing was for sure that this feline was rather strange, but a great friend.
