Shadow was off again running around like a fool but a happy one. He bolted as if being chased or chasing someone down and he gave happy barks and whines as he bolted in and out of tree lines and over and through bushes. He was working on his stamina and he was working on being able to outrun and out maneuver any and all he might have to face one day. He smiled and saw a tree that was thick and next to it a boulder that was large and would be difficult to got on top of so Shadow accepted the challenge. He ran head long into the tree and then he jumped and ran up it and once at the height of the run and when he started to slow he kicked off the tree with all his might and he managed a back flip and he landed firmly on the boulder and he howled happily as he looked around.

He laughed lightly wondering how scared those around him would be if he was that tall and then he lowered himself and he took his paws, crossed them and rested his chin on them. He let his tongue hang out as he caught his breath. All this funny action and everything aside did not take from the fact he was a warrior and a killer or at least he had the skill to kill. He thought for a moment about wanting to meet with Augustus but the man was well...not likable. Shadow wanted to like the man and get to know him but something told him that wouldn't happen unless they fought and Shadow were to win to gain respect the way a warrior did so. Shadow was in no need of that though, if he had to live as part of this pack and never talk to that man then so be it but today and many days before and after he could relax.

He was not an Epsilon and he was a no body for the time he had been away from the pack and it felt nice, sure Shadow would want to gain his title again but as of right now he would train and enjoy his freedom for a while. Shadow was so caught up in thought and of everything that could and would be happening in the future that he hadn't even known there there was someone in the area and if they had seen the things he had just done. No one got the jump on Shadow thanks to his training but he was home and there was no need to be on high alert. No matter what the other wolves thought about Amy he knew she would not attack, not while he was there and not away.

He and Amy had traveled together and he preformed a service for her and she stuck to one truth if any and that was the fact that loyalty and action to benefit her was rewarded. He had helped guard and feed and get supplies for her while she was unable to do so herself so he was sure the pack didn't have to worry about her and he also came back with not a scent on him and no one would ever know that he had gone to see her. Shadow was gone often well before Thana appeared and he was always helping someone so him leaving for a week was not uncommon and no one ever asked questions about it.

Shadow laid there and his eyes were closed and his ears twitched lightly at the sounds that were around him and he was in a state of contentment. Everything bad had happened and then life was kind enough to give him everything good back. A love, a daughter, a pack and happiness. It was good to be home.
