As soon as Edgar reacted to the badger trying to make it's excape, he was surprised to see the grim male already tearing after him; the leaves and dirt flying up from the ground as he propelled himself forward. Soon after his bite to the rodent's furry neck, the coyote had snapped at him once more - ending the life of the animal. Awkwardly, the two stood there; both not all that hungry. Just as Edgar was about to take a small bite out of the carcass to seem less impolite, the bird flew in; landing in front of the dog. She was hungry, and she wanted to be fed. This was something that Edgar did quite often with her, but it was a bit embarrassing for him to do it in front of other luperci. The dog regurgitated the chewed up badger meat and let it slide right down the throat of the bird. It was obvious the two thought of eachother as family, they were both all they had to stay alive and be happy out in those dark woods. Glancing back toward Raoth, he bowed; thanking him for the hunt. It was nice to release his pent-up energy every once in a while. The luperci then tore off a chunk for himself, changing his mind about not being hungry. The blood of the meat stained his once pearly-white teeth and dribbled down his chin, leaving a small puddle of blood on the ground beneath him. The boy was a messy eater when it came to eating meat, there was something about it that made him want to choke it down as fast as he could. Looking up at the sky, Edgar noticed that morning was coming. The sky was lightening up and the moon was quickly fading away above them. He wondered if the coyote would leave now.
