M - Skinny Dipping: Luperci Style

The black dog moved closer to Amy, almost towering in his rage. Her ears flattened down, not wanting to hear what he was saying. She knew it was true, she just didn't want to accept it. She didn't want Fang to be gone. She'd loved killing with him, sleeping with him, even enjoying his arrogance and brusque attempts at being polite. The last part almost broke her. Yes, he did hate her, but being told that she had been the cause of Fang's disappearance stung deeply, stepping away from him in weakness.

Amy held his gaze, seeing all the emotions that flickered there, emotions that she knew would only be cut up and hurt worse by existing for her. Fang wasn't my play thing. She stayed tall, glaring at him. Fang had been her equal, hers alone. Shrinking down Amy glanced to the ground, not quite sure what to say now. Studying him she sighed, knowing it was true. Fang was gone. She could see him in Toby's features, but it wasn't the same. Can't you bring him back?
