As Tharin seemed to become ready to commit the act of mating her ears shot forward. The scent of Zalen strong coming from up wind. His snarl the most intimidating sound she'd ever heard and immediately as he came charging at toward her and Tharin she lowered herself into the water. Tharin attempted to get off of Adonia as she lowered her body down, tail tucking. The water came up to her shoulders as she laid in the water. The part of the stream she was in was very shallow. Zalen hadn't eyed her one bit, he was locked on Tharin. The male had pissed Zalen off more so than she had. Adonia should have known that if she allowed another male near her that Zalen would be upset. Her heat got the best of her and to feel the touch of any male scent her body on fire. Her ears pasted back to her skull she was upset with herself. She was being no better than her mother.
She feared for Tharin as her head turned to see just how hard Zalen tackled into Tharin. She had never seen Tharin submissive, and she saw his fully exposed stomach and his whimper. This made Adonia's ears perk and she stood up some. Her eyes wide with both fear and curiosity. Coming over some she tried to stay clear of Zalen's rage, but still tried to inspect Tharin. He wasn't hurt yet, but Adonia felt Tharin didn't need anymore punishment. He already looked sorry and humiliated. Her eyes looked pleadingly at Zalen. The wolfdog moved closer to Zalen and rubbed up to his side coming shoulder to shoulder with the alpha and lowered her head below his attempting to nuzzle her muzzle under his bottom jaw. A soft whimper coming from her as she then licked at his chin. She hoped to calm him some. Nothing had happened...granted it came close, but...nothing happened...
Her tail wagged low, nearly tugged behind her as she kept her body lower than the alpha's.
