The tense situation now resolved, Zalen turned his attention onto Adonia, who rolled over and batted at him playfully. He took this to be an apology and so he batted at her back showing that he forgave her, then, turning to Tharin, he wuffed softly as if to say it was alright. Zalen didn’t like fighting with Tharin, in fact, he respected him, and that respect was one of the reasons he had chosen him as his Gamma. Tharin and Zalen were much alike in a way, too much wolf to be contained by human reason and thought; they smelled a female in heat, they were going to go for her.
Zalen then walked several paces away from the two, his tail wagging, Adonia, come. He said in a calm tone, but one that made it clear she would do well to heed his words. If she was so corrupted by the heat scent that she would mate with Tharin, than Zalen would oblige her needs.
