It wasn’t the attitude that Tharin showed about his daughter, he stood up for that, it was the blatent attack to a man when his back was turned to him. Shawchert heard the growl, and he was too slow to move away from the attack. He felt himself go head first towards the smoldering remains, and it would still be hot, but his hands went out anyway and right into the coals, he cried out and shook twisting to get the man from off his back. Rage in him, the pain in his leg and him dulled as the adrenaline rushed through his body. He didn’t know if this was a fight for his life or his dignity, but whatever the case he was tired of living in chains, it was why he came here... to be with his daughter. Now he had a man attacking him for standing up for the one thing that meant most in his life, As he struggled, he let his hands and claws tear at the man who was raging on his back.
