His hands were feeling much better now that Sky had them cleaned and washed. He didn’t even need bandages, they just burned all night. They still burned that morning but they were only red and a little blotchy. He stayed out of anyones’ way that day. Instead he kept to the border and if he saw anyone around he would move away. He didn’t trust himself to be within anyone’s reach today. He had to learn the way of this pack, and he had to learn fast. He really did want to be a part of this pack and to do that he would have to learn their customs and culture.
That was until he heard the howl. His ears folded back as he thought about the woman who broke his heart. He would know her howl anywhere. He was about to turn away when he remembered Sky said Orin knew Titania was gone... perhaps she could help and find her daughter and make sure she got the care she needed. He of course was big on ruining things anyway. He limped toward her. It took a little bit but when he saw no one had come he came into view. He said nothing though but stared at her. He was sure she thought he was the last wolf she expected to see in this place of all places.
