In silence, the Nomad watched the pair become acquainted with each other. Truly acquainted to where the animal could hear his master’s words and not just her voice. The woman’s ears twitched on occasion upon hearing the Russian’s voice and the words there in. They were a tad awkward at first but quickly she was adjusting, and seeing the horse’s ears come to attention, she realized that her companion was beginning to hear her as well. It was a swift step in the right direction, but practice was still a must.

Never the less, when the young woman’s eye turned to her, the Nomad smiled and nodded encouragingly and again repeated the tone for her to repeat. But it was cut short by a more gruff tone. A snort, and then a soft whinny as the large steed used his own voice. Grass…sweet…food. Sweet food. Her brows peaked with interest as she turned to the young woman. “You heard him?” she asked excitedly, tail swaying with anticipation. “What does he say to you?”

--- words.
