Regardless she looked back to Dmitrii, and was thinking whether or not she should repeat the sound for him to understand. The other woman beat her to it, though, and the high-pitched noise began again.

She was learning how to communicate with her Dmitrii more than she ever thought she could, and with a little more of the Sangi'lak woman's teachings, perhaps she could become fluent in low speech in the near future.
