Amy's wagon was laden as again the supplies it carried changed. The rich materials and herbs to help with the birth of new life was taken out, replaced with thick pelts for the coming winter, and books of knowledge. They would help the time pass when winter came in, and they grew reluctant to travel outside. Her own movement would be slowed by thick snow, making the wagon more difficult to move. She would have to be careful, planning for such events.
Along with the more practical items, she had brought garnishes. Plants may die, but the brightly colored jewelry that she had displayed would surely be a temptation. While all of this was a great wealth, however, that wasn't what had her stopping here. Lucias had grown sick. A cough that refused to fade. Amy had gone through the usual remedies, but still hadn't figured out how to cure it. Perhaps someone who knew more about healing, and less about poisons, would be able to aid her. Howling Amy cocked her ears forward, hoping someone would come.
