The black wolf was very good at telling the truth, Thorn had noticed that right away. With her comments that rabbits tasted better the white wolf could only nod in agreement and remember the last time he had taken a rabbit for supper and cooked it over a fire carefully. Some preferred it raw but he knew the joy of a meal that was hot, charred and juicy. He did tip his hat to the bird though, perhaps it had been rude to say what he did, even jokingly around a creature so much smaller than himself. He wouldn't want some sort of monster (Thorn had no concept of Cthulhu but if he did he would have thought of this giant god) making horrible comments about eating him. It was all history now though since the bird had flown elsewhere.
Dalgina. Well that was an interesting name. Giving a rather flourishing hat tip Thorn smiled and completed the introduction with a, "nice to meet you." He noticed that something changed after she said her name but nothing more, he wasn't a mind reader and doubted that he ever would be. She commented on his cyrillic script and there was that pang of homesickness again. It wasn't much just his name but he saw it so often on things back in Russia, and here it was pretty or a picture to someone. Move along Thorn. "It is how we write things in my home country, we use different symbols. Are you from here?"
