Edgar watched as the man appeared to be communicating with his pet again, he wished that he could communicate with him; then he wouldn't feel so lonely when he didn't have the presence of another luperci, or cat in Element's case, nearby. The goose was just a little too full of herself to listen to much of what the wolf was saying, but she had understood most of it. The boy hadn't had much of a chance out her; he was sensitive, sweet, deaf and too trusting in others, and to some he was considered "useless". It was a miracle that he was still alive, but Edgar didn't think so, he just thought that the wild wasn't too bad of a place when it really was. Whenever danger came near him, he had this way of just slipping right past it; he'd gotten very lucky many, many times. The luperci was taught only a small amount of sign language by the wolf that had also taught him to write and draw, just enough to have a small conversation and ask questions to someone who knew it well. Edgar didn't know the names of any other place but Paris, Illinois. Everywhere else was either woods, beach, north, south, east or west; nothing too specific. He had hoped to learn of more places in the world once he joined a pack though. The canine thought that he should ask him about the pack he knew was nearby that smelled very flowery ask the cat rubbed against him. His fear of cats went away as soon as he had met another cat with the name of Element. There was a detailed sketch of Element writing out his name in the sand in his notepad just a page-flip behind the one that the loner was currently writing on. Edgar affectionately scratched around the feline's chin. He stopped to read what the male had written. Levent, do you happen to know anything about the pack that's up north from here? Edgar was referring to Cercatori D'Arte, but he didn't know the name of it yet. He wanted to make sure if the pack was safe for someone like him to join.
