Itachi exiting/increasing his distance.

It seemed he would have to settle with not knowing the reasons for the woman’s change of mood. Her words would be biting, had he been receiving to vocal insult. It would seem this was all about affiliations. Itachi knew this wasn’t fair to him, but he didn’t particularly care too much about a stranger’s feelings, no matter her reasoning. The crime was not his but another’s, so he would settle with the merry fact that this would not be his doing. Perhaps later musings would eventually turn this incident intriguing enough for him to pursue the truth in the matter. There was little interest now though, with the woman’s peculiarly short temper flashing hot despite the fact that her threats had only arrived seconds ago. How impolite, the man thought.

The appearance of another didn’t strengthen the Confidant’s position at all, but he wasn’t capable of becoming nervous at his own standing. He was flawed, and perhaps they’d see it as something else than what it was. Before them, he knew he could easily come off as uncharacteristically cold and emotionless, but it was a mere state he could not escape. Few would consider this his handicap, but it wasn’t always advantageous to appear indifferent to the world and moody scenes such as the one he was currently trapped in.

Crimson eyes did not flicker to the male – there was no reason to size him up in case the face of undeserved consequence, for the hybrid wasn’t an aggressor and wasn’t about to turn into one even if they’d want him to. But it was natural for pack wolves to gather up to face a possible opponent, especially when a member displayed such vivid aggressive behaviour that left no doubt of the scene's mood. But no, the Lykoi's uniquely shaded eyes stayed with the form of the female, though the male’s presence was invincibly noted, there beside his sister. So the two were siblings? Always good to know, he supposed. All information was treated as useful until something different was proven. None of them knew if future would bring them together once again.

The woman left no time before turning unnecessary bold (or even more so, for Itachi was an innocent), and the pale golden Lykoi hybrid fully flattened his ears and turned his face away from her, openly disengaging from the duo. His body turned accordingly, and paws began to pace once again as he had before she had come and interrupted him with her presence. This time his path turned out to be more diagonal than originally as he showed them that he had the grace that they lacked when it came to civility. He meant no trouble whatsoever, and could certainly improve the distance between himself and their borders, at least until they were out of sight. His intention was still to follow their border, but he could do so at a greater distance. If this was a problem, then they would quickly make much trouble for themselves in the future. Itachi was definitely up for leaving the pack completely alone, but he couldn’t do that if he didn’t know where their borders lay. And if they couldn't handle it and attacked strangers even at some distance from their borders, then more than one pack was likely to turn on them as result.

In any case, he had confirmed his suspicions. All was well.
