His yellow eyes roamed freely about the golden male who'd upset Kiara to such a great degree, coming to a rest on his sinister sunset eyes. A lip curled to see so unsettling a countenance. He was unaware of any others that bore a similar eye color. To him it was unnatural. He found it did nothing to encourage him to trust his intentions. And even though Itachi's posture was submissive, the male was not pleased. He was far too close to New Dawn, and for that he was at the Epsilon's mercy. And Augustus was not a merciful wolf. Charcoal lined ears twitched to Kiara's distressed tones, and he rose his hackles to hear the word she loosed with a growl. Salsola? It sent a chill down his spine, and he brushed past her with his tail high- perhaps a little too much so for his warrior rank. The scars on his visage contorted cruelly as he snarled soundlessly, "You heard her..." his voice was low, deadly, and his posture was openly challenging. Now was not the time for this.
He watched as Itachi paced, backing away, head turned away from them, his ears flat. But It wasn't enough. He wanted full, humiliating submission, it was either that, or he turn immeditaely and run. New Dawn was in crisis, Kiara's overzealous reactions were a testament to that. Itachi would have faced no greater courtesy from any of Augustus's other pack brother's and sisters. They were driven by an instinctive urge to protect home and family, and it did nothing to endear one to the other. Deserved or no, their manner would not change. He needed to leave...now.
