Who's there? A bit foolish, really. Couldn't he just take a sniff and find out who it was? It didn't take much effort to do that. Just some thought, instead of foolishly panicking. She knew that it was darker in the caves, but that didn't mean that he couldn't find out who it was. The tension in his body eased slightly, taking a deeper look into the shadows. Pride remained quiet, not bothering to make things easier for him. If he was an idiot, Pride didn't have the time for him.
Laughter broke from Pride's throat at the attempt to be polite. Why would he feel the need to request to enter the caves when this was his pack? Go ahead. She had no reason for keeping him out. Well, perhaps it would have been more amusing to see what he would have done if she'd turned him down, but now it was done. He was pack, so she had to at least tolerate his foolishness.
