The kind members were the ones that were few and far between, though they were there. The coyote had learned from the best in how to keep herself untouched from the world as well, ready to fight against anything thrown her way. That was about the end of her reach with other packs. Perhaps she should get out there and visit them. Make sure that she was better acquainted with the various places. It would be useful, knowing who would make a good ally and who was an enemy.
As soon as he mentioned Alaki Pride understood his fear. The gruff warrior was an intimidating presence. The fact that he'd let his fear paralyze him wasn't something as easy to understand. Not to mention that there was no one in the pack that could kill a member without retaliation. Well, the leader could, but at that point each one had been responsible to report to the other. Physically harm the fool and lock him up, but not kill him.
