314 - Weu! Big Grin Pack hunt thread for the win!

Kiara's call was met with pleasantly sleepy ears. Sky was in between chores, taking a quick cat-nap in the clinic, Fella tucked into her fur comfortably. This was the only place she got to spend time with her adopted boy, the young bobcat happy to have his 'mother' around again. He'd noticed Sky's mood lifting with Shaw's arrival into the pack and was more than happy to welcome the wolf as family because of it. So whenever either of the two ex-artisans had a moment, that's where he went, spending time with both and enjoying it as much as he could. The howl that woke Sky from her dreams was unwelcome to him. She rose to her feet despite his protests and headed out without him, leaving him behind in the clinic with a 'I'll be back, love you' for comfort. Great.

Sky made easy time reaching the glen. Upon seeing Kiara's pale form, the earthen hybrid waved her tail happily and approached on light paws. She was in her lupus form, as usual, so when she got close enough, she offered the other mother an affectionate lick to the ear and a brush of shoulders before stepping back.

"Good tidings, sister. I hope you've good news, calling the pack together." She smiled, sure by the lack of fearscent that Kiara was going to make her day a little brighter. She kept an ear trained to the forest around them, hopeful to see certain members show up- like Shawchert, and her kids... and Zalen, of course. The thought of the alpha earned the girl a nervous tail wag- was he still upset about what happened with Tharin? She hoped not. Nothing was worse that upsetting Zalen, who'd so far been so patient. She'd hated to hear his growls during the upset. She hoped that sound would never be directed her way again.
