He was surprised to have actually run into a Khalif wolf all the way out this way. Of course that meant that he had found family that he hadn't expected to run into. But while it had been a mini reunion it wasn't one that he had particularly cared to have. He hadn't exactly been close to anyone but Nox and well, he had been extremely close to Nox on a few occasions. But that wasn't spoken about since he knew full well that he had been doing wrong, the incest bit of it aside. It hadn't exactly bothered him when his father had been made a sacrifice of either.
But it was the unexpected reunion that had him lingering in a particular area longer. He wasn't really looking to run into family again and so he had moved away from the spot where he had been found but he remained near enough to keep an eye out for what was going on. He had crossed the river and moved to the beach where the bay narrowed before being blocked off by the isthemus. He didn't exactly know that he was tempting borders but he didn't particularly care either. But it wasn't like he was alone either. There was a herd of horses some distance away. Zadkiel had though to tempt them at first but they wouldn't let him near them and so he had given it up in order to mess with the aquatic life instead.
He amused himself with stabbing fish and drawing them up out of the water on his knife only to toss them on the sand over his shoulder somewhere and entirely forgetting about them. So what if he was wasting food? It wasn't something that he ate. He didn't care for seafood in the slightest. No, this was only something to pass the time with for moment.
