Adonia was pleasantly surprised when Zalen didn't fight her grab and pull. Her tail wagged and she nuzzled more into the crook of his neck. Her ears did go back the moment he said he couldn't fall asleep like this, maybe she did---no he then explained he'd probably crush her. She giggled and let him readjust them and it was more comfortable despite the oddly comfortable weight of another on her. Her tail gave light wags. Her hand once put to his chest ran lightly over it. He was certainly very strong beneath his fur. Her eyes looked over to his face as he spoke. Her ears perked wondering what he was saying, then she realized it was a poem of sorts. It was nothing like any poems she'd grew up with from her mother, who was fond of old human children rhymes. It was interesting, like telling a story. She wondered what the two hearts were to one another. Was it family? Was it a brother, or a father, or even a mother coming home? Or was it a lover? She smiled fondly then nuzzled her head more into his shoulder.
She didn't know Zalen was a poet of sorts. Did he make it up, or was it an old human poem? She would be surprised if it was an old human poem he recited. She thought he was strictly against human things. Either way, it was beautiful, and she wondered if she'd ever hear another. The arm that rest on his chest moved to pull herself into him more, her one leg came up and rested onto him. He made for a great pillow, and it seemed he didn't mind her cuddly nature. It was often she got to cuddle things, not since Ookami and her were over.
It wasn't long before her mind rested after thinking of the many possibilities to what the poem was about. Then Adonia was fast asleep within the arms of Zalen, while she held onto him.
