Zadkiel yawned and stretched his arms up towards the sky. His stomach grumbled lightly and caused him to set himself to the task of finding something to put into it. Fingers reached up to tease his hair as he walked. He tried to keep himself away from the lands belonging to packs as he moved about. It wasn't that he was ashamed of what he ate but would rather not have a whole pack bearing down on him. He knew that he wouldn't be able to do anything if he was outnumbered. It was why he stuck to filling himself with loners. Who would miss them anyways? About as much as he would be missed, most likely. He was from such a large family that he didn't even know them all. Not that it concerned him in the slightest.

A scent was carried to him on the light breeze and had a smile creasing at his lips. It was the unmistakable scent of one on their own, of one not belonging to a particular portion of land. Of course to him that meant it was the scent of food. Or that was his thought until he had gotten closer. The woman had a blade with her and so it wouldn't be an easy meal as he had thought it would be. But that was fine with him as there were other things that she would still be good for. She wasn't as dark as he liked but she still wasn't of a lighter coat color as he was. it was still enough to take that chance to tempt the gods without actually doing so.

Zadkiel did nothing to hide his approach but he didn't go about making it elaborately pronounced either. He didn't bother to say a word as he walked towards the female, stopping behind and to the left of her. He stared behind the female in order to see what it was that was being stared at. All he found there was a slowly dieing horse but didn't really see the same amount of intrigue with it. Though it did make him wonder about getting one of those creatures for himself to make travel easier. Zad hadn't exactly come across the cheapest way to obtain one so far. Or at least hadn't run across a loner that he could kill and steal one from.
