Adrian caught her as she jumped into his arms. He chuckled, nuzzling the top of her head with a grin. He waited until she released him from her death grip hug. Adrian moved one claw under her chin and tilted her head up to look at him. He bent down and kissed her, a quick, loving kiss that he put all of his love into. He wanted her to know that all of this was for her. He had worked to make everything perfect for her. She was his one and only love and he intended to show her that. He let his paw drop from under he chin, but put one paw on the small of her back and lead her to one of the two seats. He pulled the chair out and smiled at her, waiting for her to sit down.
When Rio finally sat he pushed the chair in and gave her one more quick kiss before winking at her and moving to the second table in the room. He got the wine bottle and took the cork in between his teeth and pulled it out. He walked over and poured her a glass of wine, along with one for himself. There was also some vodka, if Adrian felt that the wine wasn't strong enough. But he would much rather they both be somber for the rest of the night. Or at least until they left this room and he showed her his love behind their bedroom door. For now, he was being romantic. He grinned at her, a nervous smile that hinted at how excited he was, "So my love, what do you think?" He said, sweeping his hand to take in the room around them, with all of his special planning.
