Edgar smiled as he felt a rumble in Hati's throat as his mouth bit gently into his ears, he could tell that he liked it. The young artist knew that his mate too hadn't wanted to leave him at the moment, he could see the desire to be with him in his pale eyes. After Edgar gave him just one more kiss, he wrote down one more thing; this time in French. Although he couldn't understand the language, he loved it when Hati wrote in French, it was so sweet to him. The corners of the spotted luperci's lips curled up into a smile as he carefully read over what Hati had written. When he had looked up to see if his husband was still in the room, he saw nothing but the empty room before him. Whenever Hati left the room, everything around him always felt so empty; the man had a very strong energy that Edgar had been drawn to from the start of their relationship. While the man was standing in front of his oven, he pulled it open and took out the baked pie. Setting the pie on the counter, he walked over to their dining room table and threw a long, purple table cloth over it. Edgar then brought over his pie, the soup he had made earlier and poured two glasses of wine for himself and his loyal mate. The luperci then placed many long, red candles on the table and carefully lit them. The sensitive male took a small step back to take in the beautiful mood he had set for their dinner. Little did he know, his lover was outside hanging off the edge of their roof; about to die. Just a moment later, the goose burst in through the door and hopped into the kitchen, stealing a small carrot from the big bowl of soup while Edgar read over Hati's message over and over.
