I'll make one more post after this one then this'll be done

Although she wasn't a very intelligent animal, the goose knew that Hati wanted help from her Edgar. Because his mate had come into his life, the spotted man no longer spoiled his goose as much as he had used to; Hati becoming the object of his affection. After reading over his love's message, he turned toward his bird to find her bobbing her head in the bowl of soup for a carrot. Infuriated, Edgar chased after her all around the cabin, thrashing his arms about to reach out and try to catch her. Just after Hati's body had hit the ground, the goose frantically fluttered out the doorway and landed a few feet away from the injured body of Hati. Moments later, Edgar burst through the door, about ready to lock up the fowl in her cage up in his and his husband's bedroom. The one and only thing that kept him from doing that was the sight of Hati lying there on the ground with a dark pool of blood beginning to expand around him. The artist rushed to his side, his heart pounding almost right out of his chest. He didn't know what to do. He could pull Hati's body off of the rock, but then he would hurt him even more. No matter what he did, his precious Hati, the man he looked up to and yet cared for so much, would be dead. Tears streamed from his soft copper eyes, placing his arms around Hati's neck. He never expected for this to happen today, he never wanted it to either. He wished that he could go back in time to the moment where he and Hati were together in the kitchen and all that he was worried sick about was the pie in the oven, that moment was perfect to him. Desperately, he thought to himself: Please don't go, you're all that I have...
