No, you're the one who came up with the idea of it; so thank you! I just know that this thread has to win one of the categories c:

He was alive. The boy's tears still continued to come down, he knew that he would have the gift of having just one more minute with his man. He looked tired. Edgar knew he was dying, his heart panged with guilt when he thought of how he could have made it out here sooner and stopped all of this from happening. Then there was a question that came up in his mind; was this meant to be? The luperci swallowed hard, knowing deep down inside that for some reason it was. The thing was though, he couldn't make it without him, ever. Edgar couldn't see himself making it to tomorrow, he felt that he would die tonight; right by Hati's side as he had always been. Vivid memories played in his mind as he looked deeply into his mate's closing eyes. He smiled at the one of him sitting in the winter with cookies on the table; Hati sneaking the majority of them while Edgar was asleep, and then there was that time where they first met... Edgar was out in the woods, lying on the ground right at the moment where he felt he was about to die; he had been severely injured by another wolf over a deer carcass. Hati stumbled across him, and helped him up; bringing him to a nearby cave for shelter. But when he really thought about it, this moment was the most precious. The moments where Hati would die, and Edgar would stay by him; until the same happened to him. He watched as his husband gently painted a heart onto his chest, a tear from Edgar fell onto it and blurred it. Then the artist laid down next to Hati; arms wrapped around him. Edgar looked up at the sky and saw how little snowflakes were drifting from the sky, then he suddenly saw his goose take off; never to return to the cabin or Edgar. Hours later, he was asleep. He never awoke.
