He stepped forwards, placing himself purposely in the range of her weapons. Amy would have happily taken advantage of such a thing had she not noticed the thoughtful look on his features earlier. He wasn't giving up. Carefully Amy shifted herself, hoping that he wouldn't slip past. The sword gave her a better reach, it was true, but if he managed to twist himself inside her range he would have the freedom to strike, while Amy would be struggling to change up to keep up with him.

Her outward features were calm, thankfully. Amy looked him over, and spotted a frayed spot on his jeans. Grinning she lunged forwards for the weak point, planning on slicing up to remove it from his frame. It was risky, as it put her ever so slightly off balance. Amy trusted that she could recover before anything happened, but in that instance he could come in and do as he pleased, cutting her loose. Eyes on him Amy sliced, trusting her skill to guide her blade as she watched for the threat he was sure to provide.
