Love was most definitely not on his mind. Kohaku didn't care for it, didn't understand it, didn't want it. All he needed was Amy and her motherly love. Rather, what was on the boy's mind was his supposed fiancee. Bridget and Kohaku had been promised to one another, a development that Kohaku had tried to ignore. Yet, he had been ordered to seek the younger female out and spend some time with her. Amy hadn't given him a choice in the matter, she just said it was to be. Kohaku grumbled as he walked in his lupus, his long legs and thin body were difficult to maneuver in thanks to his sudden growth spurts. It wasn't that Kohaku hated Bridget, in fact he kind of liked her when she wasn't hogging Amy's attention.
The scent of not one, but two female canines caught his attention. The boy cocked his head in curiosity as he muddled through the scents. Wolf and Wolf-dog, both female and only one was Bridget. His tail wagged at the thought of meeting a wolf-dog. They were the best of wolves and dogs, two of the better canines species. Suddenly excited, Kohaku started to run, tripping slightly over his lanky legs as he moved.
It wasn't long before the two pups came into view. Both of them were much smaller than him, and obviously younger than him. Kohaku strode forward, a goofy smile on his face as he thought about playing with them. The crushed flower didn't even register on him. Tail high and wagging, Kohaku went over to give a greeting lick to Bridget. "Hi Bridget. Who's she?" Excited emerald eyes turned to the little, black and white female, curiosity and mischief burning in his orbs.
