She would not have her pack harmed, and if 'Tony' came around once more, he would meet a grim fate indeed. The thought, however, violent, cheered her up at least somewhat. "If he comes around again, he'll be seeing the sharp side of my knife - and don't let him forget it!" she said viciously, giving Lorenzo a sharp-toothed, strangely threatening grin.
Her pups whimpered at the tone in her voice, and she nuzzled the tops of their heads with her nose, causing them to laugh from the ticklishness. "Ares and Esmeralda," she said to change the subject, nudging each in turn as she said their names.
