She'd been so preoccupied with worry over the situation that her senses had failed her. Not noticing what was happening she kept sprinting past him until a loud growl was heard. Their bodies collided, more like she hit his brick wall of muscle, and she stumbled back with a squeal. Too late for it to have done any good, Sigh took a defensive stance and peaked at her mate. "Hadley!" she said, half way scorning him.

"What are you doing!" she inquired, though it almost sounded a bit harsh. Hadley seemed to be annoyed and she took a moment to glance up and down his appearance. Raising her pierced brow, she tilted her head and dropped the tiny bit of anger that had swelled inside her. "Hadley?" she said in a much sweeter tone of voice like she were as innocent as an angel. Surely he wasn't mad at her.
