Fayne's body grew tense, and he knew that she was reliving the tragedies. Tharin only felt rage towards Titania now, the sorrow at the lost pups turned into sympathy for the pain that he knew Zalen felt. The crime that Palaydrian suffered through was something else. She was such a wonderful cheerful wolf, one he truly enjoyed being around. The loss of her pups struck him as tragic, and there was nothing he could do to ease that pain.
Perhaps Fayne would best know what to do for Palaydrian. Tharin could really only do small things. He wasn't as close to her, and his feeling of loss wasn't the same as hers. He nodded his head, listening to Fayne's soft voice. He knew that thinking about the pups to come brought a smile to his face, excited for when they would enter the world. He didn't want them to disappear. Shaking his head Tharin knew what to say now. If the pups are meant to be born they are strong, and you won't lose them so easily.
Family comes first.
