It hadn't taken long for the tawny knight to find the training yard. It had been nearly a week since he'd joined Casa and every morning since this discovery he'd been out training. He pushed himself hard. And this morning was no different. His shield was securely strapped to his forearm, bastard sword raised. He kept his feet spread, slightly crouched to ensure a flexible stance and fluid motion. He quickly advanced with his shield, bashing the dummy to follow up with his sword. An artful slash later and the cloth parted before the steel. His expression was impassive with only a slight furrow of the brow-- his mind focused on nothing but the steel in his hand, shield on his arm, and his battered cloth and straw opponent.
He wore little save the weathered hide pants and the sword belt on his waist. His shield was plain, somewhere between a kite and heater shield, square at the top, with only a slight taper towards the bottom, reinforced by steel about the edges with hide tacked to the front. There was no device, no sigil as he hadn't yet a cause to champion. His longsword was no different with nothing but a plain leather grip, no inscriptions or detail of any sort about the hilt. But to some Luperci even that was overdressed. He, however, felt quite nude without the familiar weight of the hollowed sun pendant that usually rested against his tan-hued chest. The dusky minx had taught him more than one lesson that day, and something told him that the pair of them weren't quite finished...Not yet.
