OOC stuff goes here Big Grin

He seemed like a pretty amiable guy, nodding his head with courtesy and still managing to keep his guard up. His name seemed to fit him. She smiled broadly at his words, tail wagging. It looked like he would treat her like the adult that she was. No matter what anyone else said that was how she viewed herself, and had since she had shifted. She had experienced enough in her life to feel justified in that view. Alister let herself study the weapons and try to puzzle out how to strike next, eyes narrowed.

Her strike was successful this time, slicing through something, though she smelled no blood. She didn't want to draw blood, but it made it more difficult to figure out how she had struck him. It did leave her exposed as he forced himself forwards. Adelle moved to the side, wanting him to slide past her and expose his back. If she could get him to continue forwards and slip behind him she wouldn't have to deal with his shield, and could strike normally.
