Jiva was quick to see the darker woman lean down, at first he thought she would back down, but he saw her muscles tense, and he was ready for the fight that was about to come, but it was the lighter of the two that stepped in front of her sister. Jiva thought happily that this might not turn into a fight after all and it pleased him inside though his posture changed little. His teeth no longer bore, but his tail was still erect, and ears still pulled back, and hackles still raised.
He listened to the lighter one however. His hackles lowered as she spoke but he still put a mistrusting eye on the darker woman; “At times like these in this area, it is best to be aware of the packs that may be around.” He said deeply but not in an unkind voice. He knew he was being light, compared to what Tharin would do, surely Jiva would defend his home but did not want to fight. He was not bred for it... as his father had jokingly told him once, though he still didn’t know the idea behind that joke. “Let me escort you ladies out,” He was now in a bit of a more relaxed mood now. His mind appeased a bit, but he still had to make sure they left and they had not gone in extremely far at all, and could see that they had been playing and it was a distraction to them.
“I am Jiva Takekuro, a delta here in the pack of New Dawn.” He said, nodding for them to follow him. He wasn’t going to lead them to the camp that they mentioned since he didn’t know where it was, though he could follow the scent that they had rolled over into as they played. He was not as timid as he had when he first caught them but he was still on guard and made sure to keep them both in eyesight.
